Professional and Policy Internships from BBSRC

8th Jul 2013

BBSRC is offering two internship programmes for 2013/2014.

The Policy Internships for PhD Students are available to any NERC/BBSRC funded PhD student. There are 35 parliamentary and non-parliamentary internships available at eight host institutions. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on an area of science policy, of interest to both the student and the organisation, by contributing to one or more activities such as producing a policy briefing or contributing to a longer report; participating in a policy inquiry; or researching, developing and organising a science policy event/workshop.

The Professional Internships for PhD Students are available to BBSRC-DTP Phd students. Eight 3-month placements are available at BBSRC Swindon Office for students to undertake their PIPS and gain experience of working in corporate policy and strategy, science and innovation policy, public engagement, or project management.
