This seminar will provide an opportunity to consider priorities for the food supply chain and for the Groceries Code Adjudicator.


Planned sessions assess the next steps for ensuring integrity and assurance in the food chain, how best to ensure a fair price for suppliers to large supermarkets - including discussion around building supplier confidence - and what more can be done to improve awareness and compliance of theGroceries Supply Code of Practice.


We are delighted that Christine Tacon, Groceries Code Adjudicator andRuth Mason, Chief Food Chain Adviser, National Farmers Union have agreed to deliver keynote addresses at this seminar. Other confirmed speakers include David Lowe, Partner, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co; Eoghan Daly, Food Policy and Technical Advisor, The Institute of Food Safety Integrity & Protection; David Pickering, Trading Standards Manager, Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards Service and Will Creswell, Head of Consumer Protection, Food Standards Agency.


Dr Paul Monaghan MP, Member, Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee andBaroness Jenkin of Kennington, Co-Chair, All-Party Parliamentary Group on Agroecology for Sustainable Food and Farming have agreed to chair this seminar.
